Well-marked with candy stages for different textures and hardness: thread, soft ball, hard ball and soft- and hard-crack. Clearly indicates degrees: from 100 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and 40 to 200 degrees Celsius. The handle is insulated to lift safely from the pan. Stainless-steel frame. NSF-approved.
